Designer Needed for Impact Report

Hi everyone. Thank you for creating this portal for non-profits to connect with volunteers, and for your willingness to support non-profits with your skills!

1. Who we are

I’m Remi, and I’m from A Good Space. We started in 2017 as an informal movement with a belief that active citizen changemakers can create positive change for Singapore.

We then registered as Singapore's first non-profit co-operative for changemakers on 31 March 2020. You might recall that 1 week later, Singapore went into a COVID-19 lockdown!

2. What we need help with

A Good Space has been learning to ride out the waves of the pandemic, on top of sustaining the first year of our operations.

We’re putting together an impact report with key highlights in 2020 that would hopefully:

- Help members of the public understand what A Good Space does

- Encourage people and organisations that are keen on making social change to join us as members of the co-operative

- Reach out to funders who would be able to help us sustain this movement of collaborative changemaking for Singapore

- Explore possibilities in schools and workplaces in engaging A Good Space to run meaningful programmes for their students and employees

We are looking for a volunteer to design our impact report. We estimate that the report would be around 15 A4 pages in portrait format.

If you’ve worked on a similar report previously and would like to use that as a base for our impact report, we’d be open to exploring that too!

I’d be happy to share the content details over email to scope this project further, if needed :)

3. Why we need help

Social issues are inter-connected. From bridging the digital divide among low-income families, to maintaining the mental health of our migrant workers, perhaps a small silver lining of the COVID-19 pandemic is how it has shown us why we urgently need to come together to support the communities that we care about.

This impact report would be a key resource for A Good Space to help readers better understand why collaboration among changemakers from different social issues is so crucial for long-term, impactful social change, and how they can help strengthen our collaborative changemaking force!

As A Good Space’s working team is currently a lean team of 3 (with none of us having a keen eye for design, sadly :P), we thought we’d look around to see who might be interested to contribute their strengths in design for this project! That’ll free up our bandwidth to work on other initiatives at A Good Space, too.

4. Timeline

We’d like to have the final draft of the impact report by 2 March.
