Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) is a social service organization (SSO) established in 1964, dedicated to minimizing cancer and maximizing lives through effective programmes.
The Befriending Programme is a new initiative that aims to outreach and raise awareness about the support and resources available for these people with cancer. The programme will train people to be equipped with cancer knowledge, active listening skills, and awareness of resources available for cancer patients. For a more experiential learning, there will be a short video where we follow a cancer survivor on his/her cancer journey, and to hear from him/her the helpful ways in communicating with cancer patients.
Thus, we are looking for people who would be able to film and edit a 5-10mins video with regards to interviewing cancer survivors in sharing their experiences.
Requirements and delivery expectations:
• Filming of short video with basic videography equipment
• Basic editing skills for a short video
• Location of filming will be at our premises
• Time of filming preferably on weekdays, TBC
• Looking to start filming in January 2021
If you are interested and willing to be on board this initiative, please kindly contact us via our email address "firstname.lastname@example.org" where we can discuss further.
Do note that we are a non-profit organization and there will be no remuneration. However, we are open to discussing other areas for collaboration.
