BeingBeings.com is a community interfaith newsletter weaving an interfaith tapestry for the Singapore story. We are about thriving as many within a diversity of faiths.
Our team and volunteers come from various religions and spiritual traditions, and hope to build community with this platform of shared lives and stories.
We are looking for someone who is a graphic designer or brand strategist
Helping us to revamp our newsletter logo and branding
Tying in the newsletter brand with two other projects
Estimate of 4-5hrs per week
In this role, we are technically hoping to find a new member for our team, who is brand-conscious and design-centred. So this could be an ongoing permanent but part-time role with opportunities for remuneration per project. However, if preferred, it could also be a volunteer project lasting one month. (Happy to discuss your interests and needs in helping us.)
This is a one-month project, from mid-March to mid-April, with the possibility of continuing if the person feels inclined, as this project will lead into future projects. We are definitely open to considering your preferences and schedule, if you are already interested in offering your support!
Why do we need help with this? What do we hope to achieve and how will this project impact others positively?
As a multi-racial and multi-religious country, Singapore’s social diversity is always a tension point at risk of potential conflict. This simple newsletter is a small attempt at easing that tension, and reframing our diversity as a gift. We will encourage positive and helpful stories from the lenses of various faith and non-faith traditions, for people to share spiritually with fellow citizens with different beliefs from themselves. We aim that by doing so, we shall raise an awareness and comfort for interfaith engagement, building deeper familiarity across beliefs, and contribute to a stronger level of social cohesion in our homeland.
