1. Empact Introduction
Founded in 2011, Empact is a leading social enterprise with a mission to build the capacity of social organisations (referred to as non-profit organisations and social enterprises) in Singapore and the region. Our aim for our capacity building efforts is to empower these social organisations to be empowered for greater impact.
Through our cross-sector collaboration with sector developers, grantmakers, corporates and volunteers, we bridge the capacity gap of the social sector by channelling talents, skills and resources to co-create innovative solutions to address the various needs of social organisations.
To date, Empact has impacted and empowered more than 1,000 social organisations in the region, with a contribution of savings amounting up to $7 million worth of professional services that have been rendered pro bono for the social sector.
Our main target audience are social organisations.
2. Requirements/ delivery expectations:
- Graphic design for 5 Facebook posts
- Each post features a local social enterprise who have and continue to strive forward amidst the covid-19 pandemic. We plan to highlight a quote from them to encourage fellow SEs who are facing similar challenges.
- We will provide the visual and post copy for each post to help with designing the graphics
COVID-19 has brought about numerous challenges for businesses and looks to have far-reaching impact on the social sector. We spoke to 5 local social enterprises about the challenges they have faced, and how they have been responding to them – and many of them have innovated and created new products to not only survive through the crisis but come out stronger. By creating this series of posts under our content pillar of #Empower, we thought they could help encourage and inspire those facing similar challenges, and also just to spread some positivity around!
We plan to post the 5 posts from end June to July, 1 post per weekend. It would be good if the first post can be done by the week of 22 June.
