1) About us
Activity Kampong (https://www.facebook.com/ActivityKampong/) is a ground-up initiative to support the engagement of seniors during this stay-home season. It hopes that through the sharing of creative 'home-made' ideas amongst caregivers, seniors can keep active physically, socially and mentally.
So far, we have been sharing fortnightly Facebook posts with ideas on how seniors can stay meaningfully engaged at home, including physical, social and cognitive activities. Unlike other resources on the internet, these are localised to our Singaporean culture. Now, we would like to create a website to store all these ideas, in a way that is user-friendly to navigate. We are targeting our website to both family and professional caregivers (eg, occupational therapists, activity coordinators). We forsee it will be an idea bank that will be constantly added to, providing much-needed inspiration.
2) Help needed
2-3 consultation sessions
Either in person, or via Zoom
We would like to have consultation sessions with a creative, who would be able to guide us and kickstart our process of creating this website.
We see it as teaching us to fish, instead of fishing for us. We don't have any website-creating or designing experience, but are keen to play around with Wix or something similar. What we need is professional guidance on how we should approach this project and the design process.

A possible website similar to what we hope to achieve: https://www.goldencarers.com/
4) Time frame
Hope to complete the initial consultations by late Aug-Sep 2020
Hi, I'd be interested to have an initial meeting/consultation session to provide some help!
Hi Annette, thank you for offering your help! We will message you directly :)
Hi! I'm happy to provide some insights! I've had experience with web prototyping and design research! We can scrap together some quick mockups and design with codesign with the audience. Please reach out!
Hi David! Thank you for your offer to help. We are currently in the midst of working with someone else who has reached out a few weeks earlier, and we are figuring things out. Perhaps at a later time, if we need additional expertise, we would ask again for help at that point? Thanks so much! :)
